The vision of Daughters of Hope is not only to reduce poverty and injustice but to give dignity and freedom to those who have been caught up in the cycle of economic and social oppression. Daughters of Hope trains and employs women from the slums in south India who have no other options for employment. Our vendors employees are brought into a loving community where they are given a fair wage, free healthy lunches, childcare, health insurance, and, most importantly, an opportunity to rise above their circumstances! Daughters of Hope currently employs more than 50 women who have been freed from the cycle of poverty.
