Le Petit Journal

Le Petit Journal was a daily newspaper published in Paris from 1863 to 1944. In the 1890's it had a circulation of a million copies, and in 1884 began a weekly illustrated supplement. In 1891 Le Petit Journal organized the Paris-Brest-Paris Bicycle Race that would continue through the present day in the form of the famous PBP randonneuring ride. We offer a selection of original covers and pages from the illustrated supplement. Matted size is 18 x 23"
